Boycott Update: The Campaign To Promote Tolerance Goes On & Three Stooges Object

I am continuing my call to boycott any business that benefits from their association or business relationship with The Faith and Family Values Network, Inc., Ubuy2Give. Inc., Christian Values Network, LLC (CVN.org), Charity Give Back Group or CGBG, LLC (CGBG.org), and the Jewish Giving Network, LLC (TJGN.org), and any other subsidiary company owned or controlled by these business entities, and the anti-gay organizations who receive financial support by participating in the smoke and mirror shell game being operated by these con-men.

I don’t pretend to be a journalist, or an investigative reporter. I’m a blogger with a vested interest in LGBT civil rights, employment non-discrimination protections or ENDA, marriage equality and the repeal of DOMA, the development and implementation of anti-bullying initiatives, and promoting diversity and tolerance in our government, in the workplace, in our houses of worship, and in society at-large.

As a blogger, advocate, and activist, I feel that my views are fully in sync with the Judeo-Christian values that form the basis of our country. I’m not being paid for this, I don’t benefit financially in any way from my work. I’m not employed by any advocacy group, and I don’t have a direct line to George Soros or the Koch brothers, or their huge wallets, to support my work. It’s my own blood, sweat and tears that go into writing this blog, and promoting what I believe in.

The one value that informs every column inch of this blog, is my promise to tell the truth. When I first called for the boycott, I incorrectly identified Focus on the Family (FOF) as an active anti-gay hate group. As soon as I realized the mistake, I posted that I was wrong to characterize them as such, as the Southern Poverty Law Center did not have FOF on their list of active hate groups with the Klu Klux Klan, Aryan Nation, Family Research Council and American Family Association (AFA). I also said that as far as I’m concerned, based on the lies and misinformation that FOF spreads to their followers, that in my book they are a hate group.

The Faith and Family Values Network, Inc., who owns CGBG, LLC and CVN, LLC and the Jewish Giving Network, LLC has been using every outlet they have available to them, in order to play a victim and martyr, and have accused me of bullying them, bullying huge corporations, misrepresenting their corporate structure, and even resorted to referring to me as a homo-fascist and other choice names. Are they getting any traction? Is their propaganda campaign working? No it’s not. Bring it on dudes!

I will continue to tell the truth, and will continue to expose their lies, in the coming weeks ahead. In addition to contacting the companies on their roster of stores, I am going to highlight the role that Google and Doubleclick play in supporting hate, and Linkshare and Rakuten, as well as Commission Junction and Value Click, Performics and Publicis Groupe, and the Parable Group. They are just as guilty for promoting hate and hate speech, as the retail organizations who participate in this shell game.

To be clear - I want to make sure that I characterize CVN/CGBG properly, so I will use their own description.

The Company operates an interactive online media, shopping, and e-commerce platform that enables Christian Values Network users (“Users”) to access the cvn.org web site as well as web sites of third party merchants ("Merchants") and to purchase certain goods or services from such web sites.

It is now on the record that I am using their own Marketing Agreement to reflect what the Christian Values Network, and the tangled web of companies they own, actually is attempting to do.

It is also now on the record that I will not rest until the Family Research Council, Focus on the Family, Liberty Counsel, Summit Ministries, Promise Keepers, Stephen Baldwin, Kevin McCullough, and Mike Huckabee, are not benefiting financially in any way, from any retail organization or corporate entity that is a part of the Network; and continues to promote intolerance.

Because contrary to what the hater’s say - this is all about tolerance.
