Comment of the Day: The USA Is A Holy Nation?

The Cross Timbers Gazette is a small community newspaper in Flower Mound, Texas. Pamela Kimble, the chairman of “Reclaiming Texas for Christ” wrote an opinion piece that was published on September 24th 2011. She wrote:

It comes as no surprise that citizens here in Texas are unhappy with the state of affairs in our nation. Texas remains one of the most conservative states in America.  All across the country, families are struggling to make ends meet with a high unemployment rate, the nation is split on many political and moral issues, and many deny that we are a Judeo-Christian nation.

Here in North Texas a group of concerned citizens are determined to make a difference.

We welcome all who are seeking a Biblical response to the critical shaking of America’s foundation, who believe that America is in crisis - not just politically, financially or morally, but because our nation has not honored God in its successes or humbly called on Him in its struggles.

Note to self! See the reference to the Virginia earthquake - - the “critical” shaking, and Michele “Bozo’ Bachmann said something similar. Bozo is a dominionist, and I guess the reclaimer’s are too.

In response to Ms. Kimble’s cry for a “Biblical response” to our nation’s problems, I’d suggest that a political response would be more effective. I’d start by telling her that we can’t allow any more Texans within 100 yards of the White House, and conclude by saying that we have to vote Democratic to ensure that our secular government stays in tact.

A “Miss Flannery” left this comment on the Cross Timbers Gazette website.

Talk all you want, but the more radical parts of the US will not care in the least. They think they are right, and that we are wrong.

We should separate ourselves from the wicked States in the Union and let them reap what they sow.

Let us separate ourselves from their wickedness and become a free, holy, independent nation - separate from the wickedness of the so called "Blue" States, that are nothing more than socialist, secular States not worthy of our company.

Let us break from their wickedness, lest we be tainted by it.

I do know that you’re wrong - and could probably speak for most people when I say -

See ya! Wouldn't wanna be ya!

Pure wickedness.........
