Diversity: The UK's Biggest Diversity Careers Event to Take Place in London

London, England: On Friday October 21st, 2011 the largest and most diverse job fair in the capital will take place at the New Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden.

The jobs fair is targeted at LGBT applicants, but all sexual orientations are welcome.

The lead sponsor is the European bank Société Générale S.A., Google and the Royal Air Force (RAF). Additional companies confirmed to attend are American Express, Asda, Ernst and Young, the FSA, HSBC, London Fire Brigade, National Audit Office, Waitrose and London 2012.

The Deputy Chief Executive of Stonewall, Laura Doughty stated “Stonewall is pleased once again to be working in partnership with the show. We know that lesbian, gay and bisexual jobseekers want to know potential employers will support and develop them to achieve their full potential."

The job fair will be providing attendees with one-to-one résumé  workshops run by Google, and there will be a student zone for students about to graduate, or recent college graduates, to learn how to create job opportunities for themselves.

“We have developed our offering to help candidates maximise the opportunities. Our focus is delivering quality, good calibre candidates. We've targeted candidates through innovative online and offline social networking activities, creating inroads with University Careers Services and building ambassadors on campus," said Uwern Jong, the Managing Director of Boutique Marketing.
