Gay Republican Group Endorsed Anti-Gay Willard Mitt Romney

GOProud turns to Gay Republicans Begging For Money And Financial Support

By Preston Merriweather

Our today in self loathing  news comes to us from Washington, DC.

A teeny tiny right-wing conservative gay GOP group announced who they were endorsing in the 2012 presidential election.

Stop the Presses! Miracle of miracles – GOProud the gay Republican club announced their endorsement of vulture capitalist Willard Mitt Romney for president.

It was an ‘enthusiastic’ endorsement according to the press release, though it wasn’t a unanimous endorsement, so maybe it should be characterized as mildly enthusiastic? Regardless, their press release wanted to let us know how strongly committed they are to electing the former governor of Massachusetts to the office of president.
GOProud is prepared to commit significant resources to help make Mitt Romney the next President of the United States.
Somehow I don’t think their fundraising pitch will get them very far.

Just 6 weeks ago, on May 12th, 2012, the little gay GOP group complained that the candidate’s message to Goldwater conservatives was “drop dead.” Just six weeks later they endorsed Willard Mitt Romney enthusiastically.

I wonder who you have to blow to get an endorsement from this gay Republican club, because it seems pretty easy.

That’s all the news we have for today in self loathing!
