Misinformed Mitt "Unpaid Medical Bills Paid By Charity"

This man has NOT earned anyone's vote. The Aristocratic multi-millionaire and vulture capitalist Willard Mitt Romney is so out of touch with voters, that he thinks someone else pays the unpaid medical bills for the uninsured. He also believes that no one dies because they don't have health insurance. He must be smoking crack!
There’s no sensible reason to vote for a Republican in this election. They have stood in the way of progress, refused to govern, obstructed budget deals and job creation programs, and they all think alike. Romney and his party have lost all sense of reality and they're completely out of touch.

If you needed proof that the multi-millionaire vulture capitalist and Republican presidential candidate, Willard Mitt Romney, is out of touch with the middle class - I’m going to give you all the proof you need in black and white. This is what he said in Ohio:
"We don't have people that become ill, who die in their apartment because they don't have insurance. We don't have a setting across this country where if you don't have insurance, we just say to you, 'Tough luck, you're going to die when you have your heart attack.' No, you go to the hospital, you get treated, you get care, and it's paid for, either by charity, the government or by the hospital."
Is this man smoking crack?

Is it Romney’s fault that he doesn’t know the challenges that an individual, or a family, confronts when they don’t have health insurance?

Romney’s stupidity and ignorance is definitely his fault, especially when he champions “Romneycare” and the affordable healthcare program that he fashioned for the residents of Massachusetts. The candidate’s arrogance is his fault, especially when he pledges to repeal the deficit reducing  Affordable Healthcare Act, also known as “Obamacare,” as soon as he takes the oath of office - without a plan to replace it.

Willard Mitt Romney tells anyone who will listen that he has a health care plan, and that he will share it with us after he is elected. AS IF! I don’t believe him - do you?

Deficit hawk Willard Mitt Romney says he has a plan to reduce the deficit. He will add trillions to defense spending, reduce taxes, and he’s going to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act, which reduces the deficit. So while he’s cutting programs, he’s also adding to the deficit. It just doesn’t make sense. He doesn't make sense.

NPR’s Julie Rovner writes:

But Romney was talking about something slightly different in Ohio: the idea that the U.S. doesn't have people who become ill or die because they don't have insurance. That, however, is belied by a large and growing body of academic studies, starting with a landmark study from the nonpartisan Institute of Medicine in 2002 that found 18,000 people died in the year 2000 because they lacked health insurance. Various updates of that study have come up with even larger numbers, mostly because of a growing number of uninsured people, combined with the increasing cost of medical care. In other words, there's a growing gap between what you can get with insurance and without.
And it's not just deaths. Studies also show people who get sick have worse outcomes if they don't have insurance than if they do, across a wide array of ailments, from cancer to heart disease to asthma.
The GOP candidate has avoided answering questions about what he would do to help the 40 to 50 million people (or more) who would lose health care coverage if he repealed “Obamacare.” Now we know why - he figures that you can just go to the hospital if you’re sick, and he wrongly assumes that someone else is going to pick up the tab! Don't we wish!

On  September 17, 2009 Reuters reporter Susan Heavey wrote an article about a Harvard Medical School Research Study that found an American dies every 12 minutes because they don’t have health insurance, and they can’t get medical care.

Nearly 45,000 people die in the United States each year -- one every 12 minutes -- in large part because they lack health insurance and can not get good care, Harvard Medical School researchers found in an analysis released on Thursday.
"We're losing more Americans every day because of inaction ... than drunk driving and homicide combined," Dr. David Himmelstein, a co-author of the study and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard, said in an interview with Reuters.
Overall, researchers said American adults age 64 and younger who lack health insurance have a 40 percent higher risk of death than those who have coverage.
So we’ve established that Romney is clueless and out of touch with the average voter. This also reaffirms his comments regarding the 47% of people, who he wrongly assumes, don’t take personal responsibility for themselves. Romney doesn’t care about senior citizens, our military men and women fighting overseas, the disabled, and the working poor. Who does he care about?

What I find most disturbing about these particular Romney’s remarks, is the idea that someone else picks up the bill if you go to a hospital for a medical emergency, without any health insurance. We are the ONLY industrialized nation in the world, where you can go bankrupt and lose your home due to unpaid medical bills. Doesn't he know that?

Universal healthcare is an idea that was first proposed by Republicans in Congress. They believed that if everyone had health insurance, that medical costs would go down. When healthcare costs go down, and everyone is insured - Americans would have more disposable income. When we have more disposable income to put food on the table, and put clothes on our backs, and a roof over our head, we tend to go on vacation and buy other goods and services. That strengthens our economy, creates jobs, and increases tax revenue for the states and federal government.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that the Affordable Healthcare Act will reduce the federal deficit, not add to it. And yet Republicans who are so concerned about the federal deficit, are determined to cut Social Security, Food Stamps, Pell Grants, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as repealing Obamacare. These programs keep people out of poverty, and in some instances provides health care coverage.

Repealing Obamacare will add to the deficit - it won’t reduce the deficit. So why are these deficit hawks trying to repeal a program that will reduce the deficit? Are they stupid, irresponsible, and heartless? Are they not interested in helping the country?

Cutting entitlement programs for those on the margins of society will hurt our economy and likely force an even greater recession. If those receiving government assistance have their programs slashed, they will have less money to spend on essentials. That will hurt every segment of our society, and the effect will be an economy that isn’t growing at all.

Romney has a law degree and an MBA from Harvard, and yet he doesn't have a clue about any of this, and this is basic economics 101. The man who says he’s going to rescue our economy doesn’t understand economics.

I’m not a genius - but I know how an economy works. Why doesn’t Willard Mitt Romney?

Romney is a vulture capitalist who wants to be our President, and he doesn’t have a clue how an economy works, and his party is no different.

There’s no salient reason that I’m aware of, why anyone would vote for a Republican, in this election. They have stood in the way of progress, refused to govern, obstructed budget deals and job creation programs, and they all think alike. Romney and his party have lost all sense of reality and are completely out of touch.

I think you’ll have to hold your nose if you vote for Romney on November 6th, 2012, or any other Republican for that matter. The stench starts at the top of the ticket, and works it’s way all the way down to the bottom.
