Video: US Department of Health And Human Services Developed The "Facing Aids" App

Facing Aids is a photo sharing application for Apple devices

Download It Today To Your iPad, iPod Touch, Or iPhone

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) maintains the website, which is a treasure trove of information related to information, testing, treatment, and the federal government’s strategic plans, related to HIV/AIDS.

HHS has developed an app called “The Facing Aids App,” which is a photo sharing application currently in the iTunes store.
Through “Facing AIDS,” you and your community can help reduce stigma and promote HIV testing by putting a face to AIDS for World AIDS Day (December 1) and beyond.
The app is available for Apple devices (ios) but not Android or Windows phone. Anyone with an Android or Windows phone can still participate in the “Facing Aids” project by
visiting and uploading your photo from your computer or phone.

I hope that you will consider downloading the app, or uploading your photo to the website. The fight doesn’t end until we eradicate this disease.

I want to say thanks for commenting. I don’t think people say ‘thanks’ often enough and I know that it’s a big step to go from “lurker” to “participant”. It means a lot to me that you decided to take the time to comment on a post, and join the conversation here. I think we have a great community and your presence can only make it stronger.
