Download It Today To Your iPad, iPod Touch, Or iPhone
The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) maintains the website aids.gov, which is a treasure trove of information related to information, testing, treatment, and the federal government’s strategic plans, related to HIV/AIDS.
HHS has developed an app called “The Facing Aids App,” which is a photo sharing application currently in the iTunes store.
Through “Facing AIDS,” you and your community can help reduce stigma and promote HIV testing by putting a face to AIDS for World AIDS Day (December 1) and beyond. The app is available for Apple devices (ios) but not Android or Windows phone. Anyone with an Android or Windows phone can still participate in the “Facing Aids” project by
visiting facing.aids.gov and uploading your photo from your computer or phone.
I hope that you will consider downloading the app, or uploading your photo to the facing.aids.gov website. The fight doesn’t end until we eradicate this disease.
