Margaret Cho brings her trademark raunchy, socially relevant, and politically-charged comedy to Orchestra Hall, kicking off the official four-day Twin Cities Pride Celebration weekend. The show is intended for Mature Audiences only.

Minneapolis’ Loring Park will host the 42nd annual Pride Festival. The Pride Festival features each year over 400 exhibitors, 40 food and beverage booths, 20 sponsors and 300,000+ visitors participate in this free celebration of the GLBT community.

Rising pop star Betty Who (“Somebody Loves You”), gay country singer and YouTube heartthrob Steve Grand (“All-American Boy”), Pop /Motown/Disco and R and B music icon Thelma Houston (“Don’t Leave Me This Way”) and legendary dance and R and B diva Thea Austin (“Rhythm is a Dancer”) will headline “Pride in Concert” on Saturday, June 28 at 5 p.m. in Loring Park.

Daytime myTalk 107.1 co-host Bradley Traynor will serve as emcee for the evening, which ends with a massive fireworks display set to the beats of popular House music DJ/Producer Rich B.

The 2014 Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade will be held on Sunday, June 29, beginning at 11am along Hennepin Avenue in Downtown Minneapolis. The Parade route starts at 3rd and Hennepin and ends at Spruce and Hennepin. Over 120 units of community members and supporters are participating.
